How is it created? Will it play our game?
Musical instruments can be made from almost anything, from plumbing pipes, plastic bags and tape. How sound is created can be best found out by playing these instruments. To have a sound understanding we will do experiments with slinkies, Chladni patterns, gramophones and pitch forks. As a grand finale we will make sound effects for a silent film.
The programme introduces the essence of how sound is created in a playful way and enables experimentation with musical instruments even to people without any musical skills.
