Ein Ozean in einer Flasche
Make big waves
There are handles on both sides of the long tank which you can use to tilt the tank and make waves similar to the ocean waves. These are most often produced by the friction force of the wind on the surface. This force sets the water particles in rotary motion. Water particles rotate in place, while the shape of the wave shifts in the direction of the wind. As a result water is not carried away, it merely moves up and down. Waves can also be produced by oceanic currents, the tides, a submarine earthquake, a landslide or a ship moving on the surface.
