The polyhedron is a three-dimensional solid consisting of a number of polygonal faces, where at least three edges always intersect forming a corner. Platonic solids stand out among polyhedrons by their regularity. Their faces are made up of identical polygons and each corner has the same number of edges. By the number of faces Plato classified the solids as tetrahedron, cube, octahedron, dodecahedron and icosahedron. We meet platonic solids in everyday life.
