Fahrrad auf einem Seil
Ride above the exhibition
A bicycle with an attached weight is a stable system with a centre of gravity situated below the rope. Even if you mount the bicycle at full weight, the greater part of its mass will continue to be below the rope and the bicycle will not overturn. Can you imagine that you would ride a bicycle on a tight rope at a height of 80 metres without a safety net? It is the same height at which the American acrobat and tightrope artist Nik Wallenda rode a bicycle on a tightrope fixed between two buildings in Paradise Island in the Bahamas in 2010.
