Gearbox

By rotating the crank set the gears in motion. You can change them using the gear stick. Changes caused by shifting the gears show in the rotation speed of the coloured wheel. You can watch the whole process of shifting gear. Gearboxes are used most often in motor vehicles where they transmit the speed of the engine to the speed of the car wheels. An automobile gearbox has two shafts situated alongside each other, one input and the other output. Fixed on the input shaft are the driving wheels of the individual speed gears. Each driving wheel meshes with the particular driven cogwheel. The driven wheels on the output shaft are idling at various angle speeds when the input shaft is rotating.
