The world under a microscope
Insert the preparation under the microscope and observe the detailed structure of the preparation on the screen. The monitor will also show you information on the sample. The optical microscope uses light in display. A simple microscope consists of two convex lenses which have a common optical axis. The resulting image of the observed object is real, magnified and inverted. Apart from the light microscope there are other different types, such as confocal, polarising, fluorescence or electron microscopes.
