What does your city of dreams look like?
Take a sheet of paper and design the town in which you would like to live. Afterwards you can photograph your own contribution and upload it to the database which is free to browse by all visitors. Opinions on the ideal design of towns have kept changing over time according to the purpose they were to serve. Ancient and medieval towns were characterised by an enclosing wall. According to the prevalent opinion in the 20th century, traditional forms of street or square should be replaced by new forms which separate living, work and recreation as required by modern man. Today streets and squares are again appreciated for their ability to interconnect multiple functions.
