IR harp
Play music on invisible strings
Move your finger through the frame. Press the button to change the musical instrument.
The Infra Harp looks like an empty window. The whole space is filled with an invisible grid of infrared light beams. When you interrupt two perpendicular beams with your finger, sensors detect it and the harp determines your finger’s position. This is how you play invisible strings. Try whether you can play with more than one finger at once.
Infra Harp demonstrates touch-free position sensing: finger movement triggers sound playback.
