Kinetische Kunst Wellenfläche
Rock the waves
Kinetic art (kineticism) is an art movement typified by the application of motion in solving the relationship between the work itself, space and light. It is based on physics and dynamics existing in nature. By simplification we can consider any sculpture or structure, the parts of which are set in motion by a stream of air or the hand of the artist or observer, to be kinetic. Kinetic art also includes paintings by creators of pop art (optical art) which evoke an impression of motion. Kinetic art originated in the beginning of the 20th century in Europe when it was pioneered by the dadaists.
