Photosynthesis is a process through which plants are capable, by using light, of creating more complex substances ??“ glucose ??“ from simple chemical substances, such as carbon oxide and water. The whole process is driven by the energy supplied by solar radiation or an artificial source that the plants capture. Most often the speed of photosynthesis is determined by measuring generated oxygen over a given time. In the whole process this is kind of a “waste product” excreted from the plant cells.
