Watch bacteria in the soil ecosystem
With a magnifying glass or the naked eye you can observe coloured colonies of bacteria that developed in the soil ecosystem. After raising the flap you can see for yourself how important the role of light is in this experiment. Winogradsky panels, named after the Russian microbiologist Sergei Nikolaeivich Winogradsky, show the significant ability of bacteria to colonise different environments. This ability of bacteria is attributed to the large number of metabolic processes that take place in their cells.
