Negotiate complicated topography on a boat using a lock
Locks are structures that increase (or swell) the water level. They enable overcoming different water levels in rivers, channels and canals. The river is connected with the lock via a pipe that equalises the water level so that the ship can sail through. Close the lock??™s gate and using the lever level out the water levels and release the ship to sail on. You can try travelling both downstream and upstream.
