Make a gear chain and check the cylinder rotation speed
In our drive chain the gear wheel with a handle is rotated by an external force and performs the driving function. This driving gear rotates the following gears called the driven gears. By various combinations of gear wheels we change the speed and direction of the rotation of the last driven gear. The last gear of the transmission is attached to a cylinder with a helix which produces an optical effect during rotation. If the assembled chain is too complicated it is almost impossible to rotate it due to increased friction. The gear wheel is the basic construction part of gear-boxes that are used, for example, in cars.
