Blob
A digital projection inspired by the growth slime mould
Use the high and low tones of the Singing Bench to influence the growth of the Physarum polycephalum, nicknamed “Blob”.
A slime mould is a single-celled organism that resembles yellow slime. It can grow to cover several square metres. It can recognize places it has already been and learns to avoid unpleasant stimuli. When two slime moulds fuse, learned information can be passed on.
Estimate how fast the slime mould grows.
Slime moulds are amoeboid protozoans from the group Myxogastria.
