Kühlmaschine
Do you know how a fridge works?
By pedalling, drive the compressor of the refrigerator and watch the pressure in the different sections of the cooling circuit. The basic principle of the refrigerator's operation consists of a change of state ??“ evaporation and condensation of the coolant. This circulates in a closed circuit and is pushed by the compressor into the heat exchanger (the black grid on the rear of the refrigerator). Due to the increased pressure the gas in the heat exchanger condenses and changes into liquid. During the process heat radiates to the surroundings. The liquid continues to flow to the evaporator where the pressure is reduced, the boiling point of the coolant shifts and it starts to evaporate. Evaporation requires heat which is removed from the inside of the refrigerator and it cools down.
