Marimba
Ring metal plates
Using sticks resound the metal plates and listen to the individual tones. The plates produce a longitudinal wave which, among other things, depends on the length of the plate. The longer the plate, the lower the sound frequency and vice versa, the shorter the wave the higher the frequency. The marimba is a percussion instrument that belongs to the group of xylophones. It can be played by up to four players at the same time.
