Hexaflexagon
Assemble your own hexaflexagon
Select the variant of the hexaflexagon that you want to assemble. Flexagons are flat models made by folding strips of paper, their name derived from the verb ‘to flex??™. The hexaflexagon also did a good job in the popularisation of mathematics. In 1956 the mathematician and science populariser Martin Gardner published an article in the Scientific American magazine in which he published instructions and a template for its construction.
