Wie funktioniert eine Diode?
Observe an electric circuit with a diode
Insert a semiconductor diode in the circuit and see whether the light goes on. A semiconductor diode is an electronic component made of semiconductors with a different type of conductivity: N type (negative) with prevailing electrons and P type (positive) with prevailing positive holes. Their function is based on a phenomenon that exists at the interface of the semiconductors. The interface is called the PN junction and allows current to pass in only one direction. Electric current is generated by the passing of electrons and holes through the PN junction.
